I may not have made the almighty Newgrounds monthly top 20, however I've been nominated for best student animation by the UK National Television Society.

how does it get Daily 3rd Place, and then end up getting Weekly 2nd Place?

Pre-daily = No frontpage
Post-daily = Frontpage

I guess I'll repeat my last comment, then...

We need a hall of fame on NG for stuff like this!

Dec. 10, 2007 | 11:28 AM mrSimon responds:

Sorry 'bout the post thingy....

As before, thanks dude. Its been busy here at Travelers Tales, but I hope to make some more random stuff for Newgrounds at some point.

I agree with Tom he should make a hall of fame for stuff like that. A lot of people have archived something similar. Rtil's "GUM" was shown on national television, too. And so did Firth's Jerry Jackson's christmas thing, I believe.

Dec. 10, 2007 | 1:26 PM mrSimon responds:

In my opinion, I reckon there should be a "Custom award" field to your submission. Of course, this would have to be moderated.

A 'hall of fame' could be perhaps an automatic library based upon these awards as well as daily, weekly and monthly. A 'date library' would certainly be an extensive feature that could spawn such a website devision.

I love you,

Like I said back when I first saw it, it is an instant classic. I hope you try to do more with this, but I know there were a lot of hours put into that one, so don't lose any more sleep then you have to.

You did a great job, and it paid off. Screw Egoraptor (I didn't say that, your holiness), this would have been great without him. This is definately worthy of at least Flash Portal History: 2007 (when Tom makes it), if no special Hall of Fame is made in your honor.

Again, great job, and I can't wait to see the next creation of yours making some history ^^

Jan. 1, 2008 | 1:11 AM Pearlock says:

Will you ever make a Bananabeard 3? :(

Jan. 1, 2008 | 6:44 PM mrSimon responds:

Yes, after which I wont be commiting to web animation anymore...

I'm unsure how I'm going to do this though, as I really want it to be quite epic. I've had a script in the works for months now, but first off I'm going to brush my skills by aiming to produce a CGI edition of the original Bananabeard sometime this year. Hopefully by the end of that, I will be quite ready to start production on the real thing.
